
Demopolis City Schools students will return to campuses Tuesday, November 28.
Faculty will return Monday, November, 27 for Data day.

Thanksgiving break is here! Demopolis City Schools will be closed the week of November 20-24, 2024. Monday, November 27 is Data Day (Professional Development) for faculty. Students will not return to school until Tuesday, November 28. We hope you have a wonderful break. Demopolis City Schools is thankful for each and everyone of you!


Progress Reports will come home today. Please make sure to check backpacks.


We are proud to announce Mrs. Ashley Stephens as our Teacher of the Year and Mrs. Terri Cameron as our Employee of the Year. This is a well-deserved honor for both of these ladies that give so much of their love and time to the students at Westside. Congratulations, ladies!



We hope that you will be able to make it today for Parenting Day. The Title One Meeting & Literacy/Math Informational meeting will begin at 12:30 in our new gymnasium. If you are unable to attend during the scheduled time, you may contact your child's teacher to set up a time that works for both of you.

We hope to see you tomorrow for Parenting Day!


Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated next week. Make plans to participate with our daily themes.


Pre-k students will not be in attendance due to a pre-k conference. Please make arrangements for all other students to be picked up on time.

After studying the Great Wall of China today, Mrs. Stokes’ class made miniature versions of The Great Wall of China.



Mrs. Stevens' pre-k class is learning about their 5 senses this week! Today they went on a Listening Walk using their sense of hearing to listen for sounds throughout the school!👂
