Thanksgiving break is here! Demopolis City Schools will be closed the week of November 20-24, 2024. Monday, November 27 is Data Day (Professional Development) for faculty. Students will not return to school until Tuesday, November 28. We hope you have a wonderful break. Demopolis City Schools is thankful for each and everyone of you!


Mrs. Goodman's classes hosted Mr. Mark Johnson from Naheola Credit Union today. He explained how banking works and the importance of maintaining healthy checking and saving accounts to our students. Thank you, Mr. Johnson and NCU, for investing in our students!

Richard Lessmann made DHS history today when he placed 13th in the State Cross Country Meet. He is the first student from Demopolis High School to place in the top 15. He received a medal for this amazing accomplishment. We are so proud of you, Richard!

Demopolis High School will be present this morning at the 2023 STATE Championship Cross Country Meet at 9:10 am and 10:10 am!

Congratulations to the DHS Cross Country team for a great run today at Sectionals! Two new school records were made for Demopolis High School!
Richard Lessmann placed FIRST among the boys; Sara Beth Smith placed THIRD, and Hattie Hurst placed EIGHTH among the girls! These three runners will represent DHS at STATE!
DHS is proud of every runner that competed today. Many broke their own personal records.
